Viéra Rousse
At the age of 5, Viéra Rousse began playing the harp. Passionate about film music, she began studying composition at age 12 with Jean-Christophe Banazak. She then decided to continue her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague, Netherlands, with Ernestine Stoop, Sylvain Blassel, and Mathilde Wauters for harp, as well as in Jan Van de Putte’s composition class. Alongside her studies, she participated in various musical projects as both a performer and composer (UF Concert in Utrecht, Royal Ensemble of The Hague). At just 18 years old, she had already won three international harp prizes. Her body of work includes numerous compositions for films and short films, as well as works written for various musical ensembles (sextet, chamber ensemble, and orchestra).
